Epic Day 4

Today started off with a 6km swim in the outdoor pool… a long one, but a goody with some band work and IM thrown in there for some fun! Then came one of the most challenging rides I have ever done at Epic camp. With the incredible support of David and Carmen, Coach T, Sarah, and I tackled and conquered the “Lance-Me” climb… a total of 5500 feet of climbing into the clouds. We have many pictures and videos to remind us just how challenging and rewarding it was! After the ride came a 5km run time trial where everyone blew away their predicted times. The best part of the day was soaking in a make-shift ice tub with Coach T… she is one hell of a woman! It’s amazing what can be done when you are physically exhausted but mentally strong. We have a tremendous group of women here and I am so lucky to be among them all week long.
